Tianduan, a subsidiary of General Technology Group (Genertec), today announced the successful commissioning of the world’s most advanced ultra-large free forging production line. This engineering milestone, developed and delivered by Tianduan, features a record-breaking 22,000-ton free forging press and a 22-meter ring rolling machine, officially positioning the company as the global pacesetter in high-end heavy equipment manufacturing.

The production line, now operational at the customer’s facility, represents a significant breakthrough in global industrial capability. The integrated system includes:

A massive 300-ton rail-bound manipulator.

This suite of equipment is capable of manufacturing ring forgings with diameters up to 22 meters and heights up to 5 meters. In terms of both performance specifications and physical scale, the line surpasses all existing global benchmarks, filling a critical gap in the manufacturing of core components for high-end heavy industries such as offshore wind power, nuclear energy, and aerospace.

The inauguration ceremony attracted high-profile international and industry figures, including Martha Betanzos, Ambassador of Spain to China; Alfonso Noriega Gomez, Economic and Commercial Counsellor; and senior leadership from the Confederation of Chinese Metalforming Industry (CCMI), underscoring the international significance of this project.
